Do the quick jobs from a chat.
Connect Claude or ChatGPT to Product Upload, then ask it to import from a supplier, fix a price or check on an import. It works through your account and your settings, on the stores you choose, and every edit can be undone.
Same importer, a different front door
Your settings stay in the app, and an assistant uses them as they are: your pricing rules, your collections, your writing style. What it imports lands in the same import queue, labelled as imported by an agent.
How it works
Connected in a couple of minutes.
No new account and nothing to install. The assistant signs in as you and only reaches the stores you tick.
Add the connector
In Claude or ChatGPT, add a custom connector and paste the Product Upload address below. The exact clicks for each are further down.
Choose what it can touch
Sign in to Product Upload, tick the stores the assistant can use, and pick Read only or Full access. Nothing is shared until you choose Connect.
Ask in plain words
Tell your assistant what you want done. Imports run through the same pipeline as the app, and every edit is saved first so it can be undone.
What to ask
Say what you want done.
You do not need to learn commands. Describe the job the way you would to a colleague.
Import from a supplier
“Import the ten newest pendant lights from this supplier into my Shopify store as drafts.”
It browses the supplier's catalogue, shows you what it found, and queues the imports once you agree.
Check before you buy credits
“Which of these 40 links are already in my store, and how many credits do I have left?”
It checks each link against your catalogue and your balance, so you only import what is new.
Update a product
“Put every size of the Merino Crew at $89 and set the XL to 3 in stock.”
It reads the product, changes only what you asked for, and tells you what it did.
Change your mind
“Undo that.”
The product goes back to how it was. Anything you changed yourself since is left alone.
Tidy existing listings
“Find products with no SKU and show me the titles longer than 70 characters.”
It reads your live catalogue and reports back. With Full access it can make the fixes too.
Follow a big import
“How is this morning's import going? List anything that failed and why.”
It reads the job, summarises what landed, and tells you which products need another look.
You stay in control

Set it per assistant when you connect, and change it any time in Settings.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Which assistants does it work with?
Claude and ChatGPT, through their custom connector settings. Product Upload only completes a connection for those two, plus apps running on your own computer such as Claude Code.
Does it work with my Shopify, Wix or WooCommerce store?
Yes, all three. Importing works the same everywhere. Editing covers almost everything on Shopify and WooCommerce (plugin 1.3.0 or later), and titles, descriptions, prices, stock, images and collections on Wix stores using Wix's original catalogue. The platform guides below have the details.
What can the assistant see?
For the stores you chose: your products, your credit balance, your import jobs, and the supplier catalogues you ask it to browse. It cannot see your payment details, your orders or your shoppers.
Can it change my store without asking me?
Not on Read only. Full access lets it import, create, edit, publish and archive products, including deleting variants and images, and your assistant will normally ask before it runs anything that changes your store. Any edit can be undone, except that deleted variants and images are not re-created; start with Read only if you are unsure.
Does it cost extra?
No. Products an assistant imports or creates use the same credits as any other import. Editing, reading your catalogue and browsing suppliers do not spend credits.
How do I disconnect it?
Open Settings, AI assistants in Product Upload. You can change an assistant's stores or access there, or remove it, which cuts it off straight away.
I use the WooCommerce plugin and never gave an email. What do I do?
Open Product Upload in WordPress, choose Access control from the menu at the top right, and confirm an email under AI assistants. Use that email to sign in when your assistant asks.
Start with Read only and ask it a question.
Included with every Product Upload plan. Reading your catalogue and browsing suppliers does not spend credits.
