Importing into Wix Stores

Give your assistant supplier links or a category page. It checks which products you already sell, imports the rest with your Product Upload settings (price multiplier, rounding, currency, inventory and writing style), and tells you when they land. Importing works on every Wix store, whichever catalogue it uses.

Updating products you already sell

With Full access, your assistant can change:

• Name, description, URL slug, SEO title and description, brand and visibility
• Price, cost and SKU for each variant
• Stock quantities
• Images (adding and removing) and collections

Some things Wix stores differently, so they are left for the Wix dashboard: tags (Wix products have none), sale and compare-at prices, image order and alt text, and adding or removing options and variants. Your assistant is told these limits and says so before changing anything.

Wix's two catalogues

Wix moved newer stores to a new version of its product catalogue. Updating existing products works on the original catalogue today; on the new one your assistant can import, create and read, and will tell you that editing isn't available there yet.

Undo

Each edit is saved first. Ask your assistant to undo it and the product goes back, except anything you changed yourself in the Wix dashboard since, which stays as you left it. Images the edit added are removed again.
