AutoDS Alternatives in 2026: 7 Options, Honestly Compared

Seven AutoDS alternatives compared on price, fulfilment, sourcing and Shopify App Store reputation, with live numbers from October 2026. Pick by the part of AutoDS you actually use.

Last updated

Pick by the part of AutoDS you actually use. AutoDS bundles four jobs into one subscription: importing products, monitoring price and stock, placing orders with suppliers, and product research. You may only need one or two of them.
  • Auto-ordering from AliExpress: DSers, free to start and rated 5.0 from 6,337 reviews.
  • Fast US shipping from a ready-made catalogue: Zendrop (from $29/mo) or CJdropshipping (free app, you pay per order).
  • Importing from any website, rewritten for your store: Product Upload, from $9.99/mo. We make it, and it doesn’t place orders for you.
  • Finding products to sell: Sell The Trend, from $29.97/mo.

Why people leave AutoDS

AutoDS is capable software with a good reputation: 4.6 stars from 1,317 reviews on the Shopify App Store. People rarely leave because it doesn’t work. They leave because it’s priced as a bundle, and the bundle grows. From the App Store listing on 7 October 2026:

  • Import 200 at $26.90/mo covers importing only. Price and stock monitoring starts on Starter 500 at $39.90/mo, and Advanced 1K is $66.90/mo. AutoDS’s own site sells auto-ordering as an add-on on top.
  • No free plan. You get a 3-day trial, which is short for a tool that runs your whole catalogue.

The recurring themes in the 20 newest one- and two-star reviews:

  • Charges after cancelling during the trial, and trouble finding where to cancel.
  • Variants counting toward the product cap, so “200 products” fills sooner than expected.
  • A few reports since Fiverr bought AutoDS in 2024 of monitoring or imports breaking with support tickets left open.
  • Upsells and ads inside the app.

DSers: the closest swap for AliExpress auto-ordering

5.0 ★ · 6,337 reviews · Free plan · Advanced $19.90/mo

If the part of AutoDS you rely on is placing AliExpress orders, DSers does that for free. Its Basic plan covers up to 3,000 products across 3 stores, places orders with AliExpress, 1688 and Alibaba suppliers in bulk, and syncs price, stock and tracking back to your store. It works with Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix and several marketplaces.

  • Pick it if most of your suppliers are on AliExpress, 1688 or Alibaba.
  • Skip it if you sell from Amazon, Walmart, Shein or independent supplier sites. DSers doesn’t reach them.

Its low-star reviews are a small share of the total (58 one-star out of 6,337) and mostly about billing after a cancelled trial. More in our DSers alternatives guide.

Zendrop: a US-stocked catalogue with fulfilment

4.5 ★ · 1,265 reviews · Free plan · Beginner $29/mo

Zendrop is a catalogue of over a million products with US fulfilment, print on demand and 3PL warehousing. The free plan lets you browse and import, but you can’t link products for automatic fulfilment until you pay: Beginner is $29/mo for up to 20 linked products, Pro $49 for 21 to 100, and Plus $79 above that.

  • Pick it if you want shipping times your customers won’t complain about.
  • Skip it if the products you want to sell aren’t in its catalogue.

CJdropshipping: an agent that sources and ships

4.9 ★ · 2,859 reviews · Free app · Pay per order

CJ charges nothing to install. You pay product and service fees on each order. It sources products on request, holds stock in its own warehouses (its listing quotes 2 to 3 day local delivery where stock is local), and offers print on demand and private label.

  • Pick it if you want someone else to find suppliers and ship for you.
  • Skip it if delivery speed is critical on every product. Recent low-star reviews mention held orders and slow shipping, though they’re about 2% of its reviews.

See our CJdropshipping alternatives guide for how it compares with the US catalogues.

Product Upload: import from any website, rewritten

5.0 ★ · 45 reviews · Built for Shopify · 5 free imports · Shop $9.99/mo

We make this one, so weigh what follows accordingly. Product Upload imports from a product link on any website: AliExpress, Amazon, Temu, Etsy, 1688, or the wholesaler you found yourself. It rewrites the title and description, maps variants and photos, and applies your pricing rules. On Shopify it can also check each linked supplier daily or weekly and queue price changes and sell-outs for you to approve. It runs on Shopify, Wix and WooCommerce, and exports CSVs for BigCommerce and Squarespace.

  • Pick it if you used AutoDS mainly to import and keep listings in sync, or your suppliers are spread across sites AutoDS doesn’t cover.
  • Skip it if you need orders placed automatically. Product Upload doesn’t do fulfilment, so you’d order from the supplier yourself or pair it with an agent.

Importify: a marketplace importer with unlimited imports

4.4 ★ · 87 reviews · 1-day trial · Basic $14.95/mo

Importify imports from AliExpress, Alibaba, Taobao, 1688, Temu, DHgate, Banggood, Etsy, Walmart and Shein, with Amazon from its Premium plan. Basic is $14.95/mo with unlimited imports. AliExpress order fulfilment is only on the Gold plan at $37.95/mo. It supports Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix and BigCommerce.

  • Pick it if you import a lot from the marketplaces on its list.
  • Skip it if you want a free plan or suppliers outside those marketplaces.

Syncee and Spocket: US and EU suppliers

Syncee 4.1 ★ (549) · Spocket 3.5 ★ (621) · both from $39.99/mo

Both are supplier catalogues weighted toward US and European suppliers, and both pass orders to the supplier for you. Syncee is Built for Shopify and free for 25 imports; its $39.99 Basic plan covers 100 products. Spocket’s $39.99 Starter plan covers 25 unique products according to its pricing page, and 14% of its reviews are one-star, mostly about billing and reaching support.

  • Pick one if you want domestic shipping from vetted suppliers.
  • Skip both if you sell at low volume and $40 a month eats the margin.

Sell The Trend: if research was the point

4.7 ★ · 52 reviews · 14-day trial · Lite $29.97/mo

Sell The Trend leads with product research, then imports with one click and fulfils through AliExpress and CJ. Lite is $29.97/mo for 25 products, rising to $49.97 for 500.

  • Pick it if the trending-product feeds were your favourite part of AutoDS.
  • Skip it if you already know what you want to sell.

You may end up with two tools: one to build the catalogue and one to fulfil. Check the total, because two focused plans can still cost less than a full AutoDS plan with add-ons.

Switching without losing products

  1. Your products stay. Uninstalling an app doesn’t delete the products it created in your store. What stops is the app’s link between each product and its supplier: monitoring and automatic orders.
  2. Save your supplier links first. Before cancelling, make a list of each product’s supplier URL, so you can reconnect them in the new tool.
  3. Run the new tool on a few products. Check pricing rules and order flow on five products before moving the rest.
  4. Cancel inside AutoDS’s billing page before your renewal date, and keep a screenshot of the confirmation. Several recent reviews describe charges after cancelling.
  5. Reconnect monitoring. In Product Upload on Shopify you can attach a supplier link to a product already in your store without changing the product, and monitoring picks it up from there.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best free AutoDS alternative?
For AliExpress dropshipping, DSers: its Basic plan is free for up to 3,000 products and places orders for you. CJdropshipping is also free to install, with fees paid per order. If you mainly need importing from different websites, Product Upload is free for 5 imports, then $9.99 a month.
Does AutoDS have a free plan?
No. As of October 2026 AutoDS offers a 3-day trial, and its lowest plan, Import 200, is $26.90 a month without price and stock monitoring. Monitoring starts on the $39.90 Starter 500 plan.
Is there an AutoDS alternative for WooCommerce or Wix?
Yes. DSers, Importify, Syncee and Spocket support WooCommerce and Wix as well as Shopify. Product Upload has its own Shopify, Wix and WooCommerce apps.
Will I lose my products if I cancel AutoDS?
No. Products stay in your store when you uninstall the app. You lose AutoDS's supplier link for each product, so price and stock monitoring and automatic ordering stop until you reconnect them in another tool.
Which AutoDS alternative is cheapest?
DSers and CJdropshipping are free to start. Among paid plans, Product Upload's $9.99 Shop plan is the lowest here, followed by Importify at $14.95 and DSers Advanced at $19.90.
