CJdropshipping Alternatives in 2026: 6 Options by What Went Wrong

CJdropshipping is well rated, so the right alternative depends on the problem: shipping times, stock, support, or wanting suppliers CJ doesn't carry. Six options with live App Store numbers from October 2026.

Last updated

CJdropshipping is good at what it does, so start from the problem you’re having. It’s rated 4.9 from 2,859 reviews on the Shopify App Store, and only about 2% of those are one-star.
  • Shipping is too slow: Zendrop for US fulfilment, or Syncee for US and EU suppliers.
  • You mostly sell AliExpress products: DSers, free, with orders placed for you.
  • You want more automation across suppliers: AutoDS.
  • You want suppliers CJ doesn’t carry: Product Upload imports from any supplier website, from $9.99/mo. We make it, and it doesn’t place orders.

When CJ stops being the right fit

CJ is a sourcing agent with its own warehouses. It’s free to install, you pay product and service fees per order, and it will source products on request, print on demand and private label. For a new store that’s hard to beat on cost.

The complaints are a small share of its reviews, but they cluster. The themes in the 20 newest one- and two-star reviews, checked 7 October 2026:

  • Slow or held orders. Orders sitting in processing for weeks, or in transit for over a month.
  • Slow answers from agents. Waiting days for a reply about a return or a supplier delay.
  • Stock accuracy. Products going out of stock, or local warehouse stock disappearing, after ads were already running.
  • Account and connection problems. Two-factor lockouts and stores that won’t connect.
  • A busy interface with a lot of steps.

Zendrop: faster US delivery

4.5 ★ · 1,265 reviews · Free plan · Beginner $29/mo

Zendrop is built for the case where China shipping is the problem. It has a catalogue of over a million products, US fulfilment, print on demand and 3PL warehousing. Fulfilment needs a paid plan: Beginner at $29/mo for up to 20 linked products, Pro $49 for up to 100, Plus $79 beyond that.

  • Pick it if delivery time is costing you sales or refunds.
  • Skip it if you rely on CJ’s sourcing-on-request for unusual products.

DSers: AliExpress, automated

5.0 ★ · 6,337 reviews · Free plan · Advanced $19.90/mo

DSers places orders with AliExpress, 1688 and Alibaba suppliers in bulk and syncs price, stock and tracking. Basic is free for up to 3,000 products and 3 stores. If the products you sell through CJ are also on AliExpress, DSers gives you more suppliers to choose between for each one.

  • Pick it if you want automated ordering at no monthly cost.
  • Skip it if you left CJ over China shipping times.

AutoDS: more automation across suppliers

4.6 ★ · 1,317 reviews · 3-day trial · Import 200 $26.90/mo

AutoDS connects AliExpress, Amazon, Walmart, Shein and its own US and EU supplier network, then monitors price and stock and can place orders automatically. Monitoring starts on Starter 500 at $39.90/mo, and auto-ordering is an add-on.

  • Pick it if you want one dashboard over several supplier types.
  • Skip it if you liked paying nothing up front. See our AutoDS alternatives for the trade-offs.

Syncee and Spocket: US and EU suppliers

Syncee 4.1 ★ (549) · Spocket 3.5 ★ (621) · both from $39.99/mo

Both are catalogues of suppliers based in the US and Europe that take orders from you automatically. Syncee is free for 25 imports and its $39.99 plan covers 100 products. Spocket’s $39.99 Starter covers 25 unique products according to its pricing page, and its reviews are weaker.

  • Pick one if you want domestic shipping without holding stock.
  • Skip both if your margins can’t carry a monthly fee and higher product prices.

Product Upload: suppliers CJ doesn’t carry

5.0 ★ · 45 reviews · Built for Shopify · 5 free imports · Shop $9.99/mo

We make this one. Product Upload imports from a product link on any website, so you can sell from a wholesaler, a brand’s own store, Amazon, Temu or 1688 alongside your CJ products. It rewrites the title and description, keeps variants and photos, and applies your pricing. Whichever agent you use, the copy comes from the supplier’s catalogue, and rewriting it is the part that usually falls to you. On Shopify it can also check linked suppliers daily or weekly and queue price changes for you to approve.

  • Pick it if you want to widen your range beyond one agent’s catalogue, or spend less time editing listings.
  • Skip it if you need orders placed for you. Product Upload doesn’t do fulfilment; you order from the supplier or keep CJ for that.

Sell The Trend: research, then CJ or AliExpress

4.7 ★ · 52 reviews · 14-day trial · Lite $29.97/mo

Sell The Trend leads with product research and fulfils through AliExpress and CJ, so it’s less a replacement for CJ than a layer on top of it. Lite is $29.97/mo for 25 products.

  • Pick it if your problem is choosing products, not shipping them.
  • Skip it if you’re leaving CJ over fulfilment, since it can still route orders there.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best alternative to CJdropshipping?
It depends on the problem. For faster US delivery, Zendrop. For automated AliExpress ordering at no monthly cost, DSers. For US and European suppliers, Syncee. To import from suppliers CJ doesn't carry, Product Upload.
Is CJdropshipping free?
The app is free to install. You pay product, shipping and service fees on each order, rather than a monthly subscription.
Is there a CJ alternative with faster shipping to the US?
Zendrop fulfils from the US on its paid plans, starting at $29 a month for up to 20 linked products. Syncee and Spocket list suppliers based in the US and Europe. CJ itself has US warehouse stock on some products, so check the warehouse on each listing first.
Can I use CJdropshipping with another app?
Yes. You can keep CJ for some products and use another source for others. Product Upload, for example, imports products from other suppliers into the same store without touching your CJ listings.
