Import Flipkart products to Shopify (the Indian seller's shortcut)
Flipkart is India's default marketplace - and so the default sourcing catalog for sellers building their own Shopify stores instead of paying Flipkart Seller Hub fees on every sale. The bottleneck has always been getting product data off Flipkart, since they publish no off-marketplace feed. Per-URL import sidesteps that.
Flipkart is India's largest e-commerce marketplace, owned by Walmart, offering hundreds of millions of products across every category with strong logistics infrastructure.

Seller tip for Flipkart
Flipkart dominates the Indian market. Use Product Upload to import trending Flipkart products to your own Shopify or Wix store for reselling or cross-border commerce.
How to import a Flipkart product into Shopify
- 1Copy URL
- 2Paste & import
- 3Live in store
- 1
Copy the Flipkart product URL
From the Flipkart product page, copy the URL — desktop or mobile both work. You don't need a Flipkart Seller account; Product Upload reads the public listing.
- 2
Paste into Product Upload
Drop the URL into the importer. Product titles, the specs table, gallery images, MRP, and variant breakdowns (size, color, RAM/storage on electronics) are extracted automatically. The AI rewrites the description so you're not republishing Flipkart's seller copy.
- 3
Publish to your Shopify store
Set your retail price (typically a 15–30% markup over Flipkart's listed price for arbitrage), pick currency (INR or USD for cross-border), and push live to Shopify. Run COD fulfilment through your own logistics partner or a domestic 3PL.

Frequently asked questions
Is it legal to import Flipkart products into my Shopify store?+
Importing public product data (titles, images, specs) for reselling is widely practiced — but you are responsible for the legal questions around image copyright, branded goods, and your supply arrangement. Product Upload's AI rewrites the description so you're not publishing Flipkart's exact copy verbatim. For branded products, source the actual inventory through Flipkart Wholesale, your own distributor, or a 3PL — Product Upload handles the listing data, not the fulfilment.
Will Product Upload import Flipkart specs tables and variants?+
Yes. Flipkart's structured specs table (Brand, Model, Battery, Display, etc. — heavy in the Electronics category) is preserved as metafields. Variants like size, color, RAM and storage are imported as proper Shopify product options, not flattened into separate products.
Do I need a Flipkart Seller account to import products?+
No. Product Upload reads the public Flipkart product page directly — the same one any shopper sees. A Flipkart Seller account is only needed if you want to also sell ON Flipkart; for off-marketplace dropshipping, you don't need it.
Can I import Flipkart products in INR pricing?+
Yes. Pricing comes across in the original INR. In Shopify, you can keep INR if you're targeting Indian buyers, or set up a multi-currency store to display INR for India and USD for cross-border buyers. Markups (e.g., a 25% retail margin over Flipkart's listed price) are applied during the review step before publishing.
How is this different from being a Flipkart affiliate?+
Affiliate programs send buyers TO Flipkart and pay a small commission. Importing the product into your own Shopify store means the buyer checks out on YOUR store, you keep the full margin (less your fulfilment cost), and you own the customer relationship — email, repeat orders, retargeting. The trade-off: you handle fulfilment yourself.
