How it works
Taobao to WooCommerce in 3 steps

Install from WordPress.org
In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins, Add New and search for Product Upload. Activate it, then click Connect under WooCommerce, Product Upload. No API key to copy.

Search Taobao or paste a link
Search Taobao inside the plugin, or paste a product link from item.taobao.com.
- Step 3
Import with variations, images and SEO
Products are created as WooCommerce products with variations, a photo gallery and Yoast or RankMath SEO fields. Up to four import at a time.

What to know about Taobao imports
Options translated, model numbers kept
Chinese option names are translated to English. Model numbers and codes are left alone, and if a translation fails the original text is kept.
Variations with their own price
Taobao colour and size choices become WooCommerce variations, each with its own price.
Prices in yuan, converted if you want
Taobao lists prices in CNY. Turn on currency conversion in the plugin to sell in your store currency, then your markup is applied.
Every import also gets
- Variable products with attributes, and a price, SKU and image on each variation where the supplier has one.
- The SEO title, meta description and focus keyword written to Yoast or RankMath.
- The brand saved as an attribute, and to Brands when your store has it.
- No duplicates: importing the same link again updates the product it made.
- Images that download directly, with a proxy fallback when a supplier blocks them.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a Taobao agent to import products?
Not to build the listing. You will still need an agent or forwarder to buy from Taobao and ship abroad.
Will the product still be in Chinese?
No. Option names are translated to English, and by default the title and description are rewritten for your store.
Are Taobao prices converted from yuan?
Only if you turn on currency conversion in the plugin's pricing settings. It is off by default.
